As far as possible please refrain from posting anything that relates to politics and religion on FACEBOOK. There are certain people who are taking care of and are experts in handling these things. If you cannot control yourself and your emotions please prefer TWITTER to enjoy the freedom of expression. There are many Himesh Reshmaiyyas on Twitter who will identify Ranu Mondals randomly and bless them. You can be one. Some politicians may gift you a car, home if they are impressed by your communications on sensitive issues.
A Chain smoker who never tasted the wine, beer, and whisky spent his entire life talking negatively about alcohol and drunkards. He forgot he is sailing in the same sea but on a different ship. There is one more side to expose. People who claim to be decent, clean, and give saintly lectures are also sometimes pain. I have seen an amount of ego and attitude in them. It is from my personal experience with people I came across and does not apply to all. There are few exceptional people like my beloved FB friend and Guruji Varad Shenoy. You cannot find faults in them. I look forward to learning from him always.
Don’t dislike the content just because it comes from a source which you hate. May TIKTOK haters ignored my posts. They failed to realize, I was only imitating Bollywood actors. I was only trying to add a smile on their face. Never ever I tried a single video where I played pranks, did daredevil stunts or was doing adventurous stuff misleading people to do wrong things using Tiktok. I came to know about this when Tiktok was banned and found they were tremendously happy with the decision. The problem was not Arun Thevar. Problem was Tiktok😊😊
After a few weeks I stepped out of my home yesterday for 5-7 minutes. It was very disappointing to see the surroundings. Roadside shops and tapris where I always saw customers were shut down.
At some spots there were few people sitting wearing masks and were staring at everyone who passed by walking on the roads.
Everyone is worried. Frightened and scared. The body language seemed to me as if they are all patients and are on medication.
My wife was asking me to take precautions and alerting me all the time when we were walking. Like a teacher she was giving me instructions…don’t go near people… don’t touch any vehicles…walls… perhaps she is worried…my short travel on street should not invite corona to my home.
I saw a bike skidding and the person fell on the ground but nobody dared to go and help him out. People wanted to maintain distance. It was a minor accident but still on humanitarian grounds the guy deserved assistance.
All these days during lockdown I have been forcing myself to remain positive, spread joy and happiness, call people, share jokes because it is necessary. Once the office work is over or intermittently I get involved in activities which gives me happiness. Most of the times we have Taaraq Mehta Ka Oltah Chasma on TV because this is one clean serial and watchable with entire family. Old episodes are worth watching again and again.
Things are strange and abnormal outside. The mannerisms and behaviour of people while interaction is different.
SAB LOG GABRAYE HUE HAIN
Let’s pray for everyone. We shall overcome this disastrous situation soon.
Take care friends. Sorry for the emotional message😊 I behave like this sometimes😊
You have the privilege to work like a blinker ON/OFF. When you are in mood to work, start your system, check your emails, refresh your TO DO list, schedule the important activities and start working.
If you are not in mood there is a standard excuse which you can give to your seniors. There is power cut in my locality. Procrastinate on the tasks. Relax and take rest for some time and bounce back again… Kaam chalu kar do…
You escaped from the task of dressing up, standing in front of mirror, check if you are ageing or still a young dude, polishing shoes, picking the essentials and dropping in your bags etc ye sab se bach gaye aap…😊
You can still perform with a Bermuda and t-shirt. Your efficiency level is still on the higher side. Your brains are still functioning at par excellence.
Flexibility in working hours is something which we are gifted due to lockdown. Knowingly or unknowingly the subconscious mind of some people is thanking corona, the disease. Many people hate interacting with their boss every day. Please exclude me. I am blessed reporting to seniors who know my strengths and limitations. They know when to harass or praise me😊 and are aware of the tactics as how to control me.
That’s it for now.
You should not expect more corporate truths from an amateurish entertainer like me.
Do you remember the first horror movie you saw in your life? Go back as far as you can and mention in the comment section…the name of the movie and where did you see.
DARWAZA – The first Bollywood horror movie that I watched in a video centre by paying 2 INR. You will find in those days all the horror movies were made by Ramsay Brothers… The entire Ramsay family was involved in the making of horror films. Gangu Ramsay, Shyam Ramsay, Tulsi Ramsay pura khandaan ek unit tha😊
When I managed to watch this horror movie courageously I went for the next and in the process I watched Do Gaz Zameen Ke Niche, Purana Mandir, Kabrasthan, Saamri, Veerana, Evildead 1 & 2….The most liked was Jadu Tona…
We all know that BRUCE LEE is no more but he will be alive in our heart for many years. He was a tough guy… he taught us many ways. Let’s give a hand for the departed soul.
This song is from MORCHA 1980’s movie. A shorter version was available on the YouTube
Bappi Lahiri, his music was way ahead of its time. Those days I use to stand still when this song was played on gramophone record player. Generally whenever there was any function in chawls where we lived, these songs were famous and I use to take a halt at the spot when the song was played during my journey to the school or while coming back to home or other times.
I was introduced to Bruce Lee through this song and then later I watched some of his movies like Enter the dragon, Fist of fury…
Many people underrated Bappi da’s music and he did not get due recognition. For the critics who label him as a disco music composer check out the songs of Namak Halal, Sharaabi & Pyar Jhukta Nahin composer by him. He is versatile.
The Gold Man of Bollywood is also very humble and polite. Watch some of his interviews available on YouTube.
Remembering the 1983 world cup victory: This day, that year.
When you had a red transparent screen on B/W television, it was considered as color TV in those days. I was in school (sixth class) and after every 10 meters there was a house which had color TV (with Green/Red / Blue/Black screens over the main screen)
The craze for watching cricket was at its peak during those days. The local senior goons (area ka dadas) never placed me in the playing XI due to my inability to perform.
I remember the moment when India won the World Cup. Catching LIVE TELECAST in one of my friend’s house. Evening around 8 PM. Anything apart from studies, my memory is extra sharp.
Shrikanth’s innings were the highlights when India batted but we won the match because of splendid bowling. Amarnath, Richard getting hold of Kapil’s wicket and it was a 100% team effort. Everybody contributed.
Joel Garner had tears in his eyes and was lying on the ground. West Indian cricketers were very disappointed because India snatched the world cup from two-time world champions.
Over the years, unfortunately the Carribean cricket struggled to find players like Richards, Greenidge, Haynes, Marshall, Holding and Logie.
Birthday wishes to our Balwant Rai. Actors like Amrish Puri and Danny Denzongpa did not get due recognition in Bollywood. If not in the role of BEST VILLAIN, he deserved the Best Supporting Role – Male every year, year after year.
This particular award was always given to new launch (sons / daughters of stars) who were gifted because of Nepotism.
Starting from Hum Paanch we saw his stellar performances in Waaris, Ghayal, Ghatak, Gardish and the list is endless. He played multi dimensional roles and no one can deny that he was a wonderful actor in Bollywood. All the three brothers Madan Puri, Om Puri and Amrish Puri were great actors but AP was outstanding.

Since it is Eclipse day today I would like to share my connection with the subject “ Geography”
The dimensions of the textbooks of all the other subjects were of average size but Geography was exceptional. Extra large, for it has to exhibit our solar system. The sky is high and huge and no one can deny it.😊
Whenever I was promoted to the next class, I would curiously wait for the launching of the new set of textbooks (not for reading😊 but to get the feeling of the scented smell of these books)
Let me disclose I was always fascinated by the pictures in the Geography textbook. Amazing pictures of everything that is on the sky. The other textbook for which I would crave to see every year was history . You get a cinematic kind of feeling because you are reading about the heroes of our freedom struggle.
The day our Geography teacher use to bring GLOBE to the class, I would say to myself – Aaj timepass hain… Maza aayega… I was always attracted to maps in school days but till date I failed to understand why such complications and divisions when it comes to America. North America, South America, United States of America. If they wanted to call America a continent, why they never thought of giving different names to these babies. Very poor geographical decisions😊 Rich country with shortage of names.
Paying respects and remembering our brilliant and scholarly teacher Late Rama Singh Sir. He passed away due to a heart attack few years ago. May his soul rest in peace.
